So I delivered an bumGenius order today to a home and found out that the order was a gift for a friend who is pregnant. Apparently, the pregnancy was not planned for and was a surprise. The family is having some financials stress and so friends of the mom-to-be again, decided to buy her reusable diapers. How brilliant! We don't really think about how expensive disposable diapers are because it's such a convenience. But a convenience to who's expense? That's the real question.
Either way, I was so pleased to hear the story and hope many new moms or moms for a second or third time will consider the switch. Actually, even more money can be saved to second and third time moms because reusable diapers can be saved or even kept as heirloom pieces.
